Any new policy sold includes cover for Coronavirus, the level of cover depends on the policy you choose.
For Finest and First cover
Our highest levels of cover include additional cover (beyond that shown under 'all other cover levels') as follows:
Cancellation cover if you are unable to travel due to testing positive for COVID-19 (up to 14 days prior to travelling)
Cover for cancelled excursions if you are required to self isolate in your accommodation while travelling
Cancellation costs due to your airline going into administration due to the pandemic
For all other cover levels
All our policies include the following base cover for Coronavirus
Cancellation cover if you have been made redundant and cannot afford to travel anymore
Medical Expenses cover* if you fall ill with COVID-19 (or other Pandemic illness) abroad and need medical treatment abroad
Repatriation cover if you fall ill with COVID-19 (or other Pandemic illness) abroad and need to be repatriated to the UK
Any new policy purchased will not cover any cancellation claim in relation to COVID-19 (or other Pandemic illness) other than as outlined above. This includes but is not limited to, cancellation due to your diagnosis of Coronavirus, FCDO advise against all travel or all but essential travel to your destination or your flights being cancelled.
There is no cover for cancellation due to changes to Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advice
There is no cover on any of our policies if you travel against the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), government, local authority, or medical advice
No other costs related to COVID-19 other than those noted above will be covered

* This is a travel insurance policy and not private medical insurance. This means there is no
cover for any medical expenses incurred in private medical facilities if we have confirmed
that medically capable public facilities are available.
